ELEVEN years under our belt---that's the number of consecutive years that we've been doing the workshops in Jasper and at Tekarra Lodge. It's beginning to sound like a broken record, but the artists keep coming, and Tekarra keeps making it attractive for us to hold our workshops there, and Jasper continues to captivate both veteran and novice artist alike---so we will be back once again doing our thing in May and September of 2006.
The other broken record is that "it seems to take longer to get the newsletter out every year." As you probably noticed, I didn't get the 2005 letter out at all, even though I had it completed back in the spring. But time and tide seemed to overwhelm us and then it got put on the back burner. Well now I'm including it in one long expanded two-year format. So I hope that doesn't confuse anyone.
Both personally and professionally, 2004 and 2005 were eventful years. Last year saw us doing a total redecorating of our living room, dining room, stairs, and sun room and hallway upstairs---going for color and impact after living with white walls for 25 years. Then we bought new furniture for the living room and started hanging new paintings, keepers as I like to refer to them. This year we re-sided the house and installed new windows giving our place a totally new look
